Back in 1992 the Olympic games were held in Barcelona, CD’s outsold cassettes for the first time, The Bodyguard was the years biggest film, November Rain by Guns and Roses became the longest ever song to enter the Top 10 at 8 mins 57 secs, and Bill Clinton became the 42nd President of the USA.

These were the headlines, but what isn’t mentioned is that David Oatway decided to take the plunge into the dark waters of being a business owner and we welcomed the arrival of D&J Oatway a local design consultancy company with a very personal approach to projects and clients.

As a son, I proudly watched D&J Oatway grow and flourish with an ever increasing satisfied client base and some iconic projects throughout Devon & Cornwall. Fast forward to 2018 when, after 20 years in the industry, Stephan Oatway took the reins of the family business – building on the success developed over the years by David and Janet – and looking forward to the future gave the company a fresh new look and so arrived Oatway Design Ltd.

Building on the ethos of D&J Oatway we strive to continue these core elements of our family business by giving a personal approach to every project and client to meet & exceed their requirements. We would also like to stop and give appreciation to our past and current incredible team whose professionalism, efficiency and attention to detail has allowed us to deliver above and beyond every time and who deserve a huge thank you for all their hard work & dedication.

Continuing our growth and to accommodate our ever increasing client base, In 2021 we launched our Salisbury office which is perfectly positioned to cover the South coast. we also look forward to continuing our dedication to our clients and growing the business even further over the next 30 years.
