Oatway Design Ltd were proudly appointed to provide the RIBA Stages 2 – 4a (Inclusive) mechanical and electrical design services for this new circa £3m (est) 30 bedroom care home care home based in Salisbury.
Working closely with Front Row Projects (Contract Administrator) and the services Contractor, our design was developed to ensure suitability and comfortable care for the residents giving them a safe, comfortable and light space whilst considering the carers and visitors which also use or visit the care home.
Our services design included the initial assessment of the service and liaising with the utility providers to ensure suitable services were provided to serve the care home, the underfloor heating system, hot and (boosted tank fed) cold water service, local ventilation, above ground drainage, CCTV, Nurse Call system, Security/intruder alarms, artificial lighting, power and data to list just a small selection.
We hope this much needed facility provides the residents, carers and visitors with a comfortable space to suit their needs.
