South West Ambulance Trust are responsible for the provision of ambulance services across multiple counties including Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset and more. Previously Powell’s Garage, a refurbishment project was created to convert the garage into a workshop for the ambulance trust. Working closely with the client, we provided our mechanical and electrical design services for South West Ambulance Trust.
This circa £800k garage refurbishment project included the design of new artificial internal, external and emergency lighting, fire alarm, heating system, data, small power, security, ventilation systems etc. This refurbishment is a great project as it gives the South West Ambulance Trust an extra facility to operate from when they are needed. All works carried out are in line with the relevant standards and regulations.
